DAY 1 Sainte-Anne

For the first day, take the time to recover at your own pace by discovering the charming fishing village of Sainte-Anne. During the afternoon , take a nap on the beach at Pointe Marin. For the curious ones, you can learn pottery at the shop located by the beach or visit the aquarium « Gardens of the sea » and admire the various aquatic ecosystems of Martinique.

DAY 2 Le Diamant

Once rested, direction the « Diamond », small seaside resort which owes its celebrity to its rocky peak isolated in the Caribbean Sea. You can visit the city center with the « Shell Museum » or the « Father David Museum ». During the afternoon, let’s go to the beach and you can do diving where many clubs are present.

DAY 3 Les Anses d’Arlets

Take the time to discover the most beautiful views of Martinique with the visit of Anse D’Arlets. The town center is to be recommended with one of the most photographic churches of the island, which is Saint-Henri white church and opens on a wooden pontoon thrown on the sea. Take the road of the Three -Islands that offers views of the wild coast and Fort de France’s bay. For hikers, there are several types of trails with different levels, you will keep memories with views of Sainte Luce with a clear sky.

DAY 4 Trois-Ilets

Stay in the south of the island and let yourself be guided to Trois-Ilets, one of the most beautiful villages of Martinique, with a historic village from an architectural point of view that remains unique with its red and ocher colors. Don’t forget to stop by the museum of Pagerie which tells about Josephine’life , ex-wife of Napoleon Bonaparte. Discover the area with the « Savane aux Escalves », which plunges into the history of Martinique. Also, feel free to go on and reach Pointe du Bout, Anse Mitan and Anse à l’Ane.

DAY 5 Le Precheur – Mount Pelee

Take the road north towards « Le Precheur » for Mount Pelee ascension, which peaks at 1397m, by the Great Savannah Trail. Major site known saddly by the volcanic eruption in 1902 which caused more than 30000 deaths and whose magma burnt to the ground the city of Saint-Pierre. After this hike, stay in the adventure mood and you can do canyoning in the rivers such as Céron, Couleuvre or Claire.

DAY 6 Le François – Fonds blancs

For this day under the sign of relaxation, take the road to Le François, a village perfectly located at the crossroads to go south. The village, the people’s house and the old “huts” that line the streets are of historical and cultural interest. You will sip a « ptit punch », at Habitation Clément, where you will learn about ways of distillery. In the afternoon, take a swim and go to the « Fonds Blancs ». Joséphine’s bath, the most famous of them, attracts the majority of visitors. By less than a meter of turquoise water, feet in a fine sand and white. You can enjoy the many activities available like catamaran tours, jet ski, yole tours …

DAY 7 Dominica

From Fort de France, take the ferry to Dominica, an 100% natural island, authentic where time seems to have been stopped. In the morning, you can visit the capital Roseau, go shopping, have a picnic and take a dip in the vaporous baths of Sulfur Springs. Continue your discovery of the island following the direction of Castle Bruce and have a bath in Emerald Pool, a splendid and enchanting site

Head north to join Le Robert, a small town with Creole houses as original as each other. Try the crossing to the islets and ask a fisherman for a ride and you will have the opportunity to admire the local wildlife including the iguanas of Chancel Islet for the lucky ones.

DAY 8 La Trinité

For this day under the sign of gastronomy, discover La Trinité, city full of charm, masked by the peninsula of Caravelle. You will take the time to stroll through the streets of the village admiring the old houses and churches. For lunch, try the so-called “soaking” typical Creole family dish, succulent ! Continue to enjoy the city by stopping for a while while drinking a fruit juice at Sora, an unusual place. Also, do not miss the visit of the domain of Saint-Aubin and the Factory of Galion, only sugar refinery still in operation on the island.

DAY 9 Dominica

DAY 10 Grand’Rivière

The north of the Martinique is full of charms and it will amaze you. Stroll through the lanes of the village of Grand ‘Rivière and let yourself be guided to the port where you can talk with the fishermen on market days. For the curious ones, you will be able to discover in Anse Bagasse « Habitation Beauséjour », remains very “Louisiana”style.In the afternoon, for all sport lovers , go into the canyons (4 different depending on the level) for a discovery of the rainforest!

DAY 11 Le Precheur – Mount Pelée

DAY 12 Saint-Pierre

City of art and history, Saint Pierre is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will understand the history of the city and the major event of 1902 by visiting the Franck-Perret volcanological museum which preserves the remains of the eruption. Go on exploring the ruins of the center before diving in Saint-Pierre’s bay, take the time to admire the wrecks, the most beautiful of them is the « Roraima ». To end this day under the sign of history, nothing better that a visit to the Depaz factory that will make you understand the operation of a distillery and the development of rum.

DAY 13 Le Carbet

A purely historic village where there are “Negro huts” as we do not see anywhere else, you will discover Le Carbet from another point of view. You will surely bring back some bottles of rum from the Neisson distillery, still in operation, whose visit is free. For art lovers, you follow the signs to Gauguin Museum.

Finally, an unavoidable visit in the vestiges of the Anse-Latouche dwelling is to be done with aqueducts, gardens and sugar refinery as vestiges.

DAY 14 Saint Lucie

From Fort de France, direction St. Lucia, also known as “Brigands Island”. Start your day with a visit to the north from Castries Island to Pidgeon Island and stop and watch the views from there time to time. Then, head south and visit the beautiful village of Soufriere where you will be disturbed by the smell of rotten egg because of the sulfur springs that escape from the crater. Enjoy the most beautiful beaches on the west and south coast including those of Anses Cochon and Jambette, defined as idyllic.
